*We don't use whip cream, fruit compotes, mousse, or wet fillings due to their slippery nature and the heat and humidity on Maui to protect the integrity of the cake.

If you want fresh fruit as decorations such as strawberries, blackberries, blueberries or raspberries there is an up-charge of $10 per fruit.

The average cake is 4 layers high. If you want a smaller cake check the Bento Box section.

Below is a starting price and average amount of servings. The number is party cut

like a pie. If you cater cut each slice in half you will get more servings.

NOTE: These are base starting prices and anything additional e.g. toppers, accents,

detailed piping, flowers, will be an additional fee. If you want delivery we will

quote you based on your location from Wailuku.

For larger Weddings and Events you can add on sheet cakes. These are back of

house extra cakes for guests and aren't custom designed.

For basic tiered cakes, pick your size combination add on $25 stacking and assembling fee. Flowers, toppers, and accents are additional and priced accordingly.

**Upon ordering please specify colors, style, aesthetics, flowers, acrylic toppers or charms, fondant accents, etc which are all additional. You are welcome to order your own topper and it is advised to ship it directly to us so we can assemble and finish the cake before delivery. We have someone on island that makes our custom acrylic toppers. We work with

TLC Laser Works for all custom acrylic designs.

Cakes are subject to our style and not the style of other cake designers. Cakes are subject to creative freedom during designing and some aspects aren't always available that were once used before. Specific flowers aren't promised as some are

seasonal and availability always changes.

Flavors don't always affect the color of the outside of the cake and are for the inside filling. Most cakes are finished on the outside in our Swiss vanilla buttercream and can be in any color of choice unless specified.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a Food Permitted home kitchen. Cakes, and desserts may contain

traces of nuts, gluten, dairy, seeds Etc. We are not responsible for allergies of you or your guests.

If you decide to meet and pick up your order we suggest you do a few things to prepare.

~Make sure there’s adequate fridge space. Most cakes are 5”-12” high and on a cake board 8-12“ round depending on the cake size. Cupcake boxes are generally 14”x10”. This entails sometimes taking a shelf out of the fridge.

~For transporting please have the AC on, go straight to your location that has appropriate fridge space, and keep the passenger floor clear for the cake to travel on. It’s the safest place in the car. Make sure the seat has no objects that can fall on the cake. Do not hold the cake.

Please do not go shopping and leave the cake in the hot car.

Maui is a hot and humid tropical island and your cake will melt.

~Keep the cake refrigerated until a minimum of 15 min before serving. If you're keeping a cake out longer please make sure the room temperature is 73 degrees or cooler. Do not put the cake in direct sunlight or leave outside longer than

15 min.

~If a cake is being delivered please have it come within an hour of eating or have adequate space in your refrigerator.

~If your traveling to Maui please check with your hotel/condo about the refrigerator size. If your having a cake delivered to a restaurant please call to make sure they take outside food. Ask them to put the details in your reservation and ask about their cutting/plating fee.

~2-tier cakes are NOT allowed to be picked up. Delivery ONLY!

~For beach parties delivery it is highly suggested to have delivery within

15 min of eating.

If you choose to pick up, the Frosted Mermaid is not responsible for your cakes and desserts melting or being damaged after leaving our presence. You then take full responsibility for your order! After Delivery we are not responsible for your handling and improper cake care.
